Luke Dyson is a highly acclaimed London-based freelance photographer with over 15 years of experience, specialising in live music photography, festival photography, nightlife photography and immersive event photography. Known for cinematic colour, energetic crowd imagery and atmospheric storytelling, Luke has built a reputation for capturing high-end, technically demanding productions with confidence and creativity. His work frequently takes him across the globe, documenting major tours, events and immersive worlds.

Luke has photographed headline tours for Chase & Status, Duke Dumont, Example and Jackmaster, and shot headline shows for the likes of Dua Lipa, Coldplay, Michael Buble, Muse and Disclosure, as well as being an in-house photographer at The O2 for nearly a decade. His festival portfolio includes Reading & Leeds, Mighty Hoopla, Latitude, Country2Country, Parklife, Field Day, Ibiza Rocks and Anjunadeep Explorations.

In addition to live music, Luke is highly experienced in immersive and experiential event photography, working with leading creators and global brands such as Secret Cinema, Disney, Netflix, Lapland UK and a wide range of large-scale commercial activations.

Luke’s work has received significant industry recognition. In 2025, he was named Overall Winner at the Event Photography Awards and also won the Behind the Scenes category. This marked the second time he had received the overall title, a first in the awards’ history. His winning image, taken backstage at MDLBEAST Soundstorm, showcased his ability to find authentic, intimate moments within the intensity of major events.

Beyond music and immersive experiences, Luke shoots commercial campaigns, portraits, destination events and weddings, bringing a bold, honest and cinematic approach to every project. Whether capturing an intimate club show, a multi-day festival or a fully realised immersive universe, he focuses on the people, the environment, and the moments that define the experience.

Before expanding into large-scale tours and immersive productions, Luke spent many years rooted in the UK club scene as a resident photographer for BUGGEDOut! and as a regular for XOYO’s acclaimed artist residencies with Jackmaster, Eats Everything, Skream, Simian Mobile Disco and others. During this time, he also documented Annie Mac’s (BBC Radio 1) events, festivals and gigs.

He later spent several summers working in Ibiza, photographing residencies across Ibiza Rocks, Pikes, Amnesia and Sankeys, further shaping his early approach to nightlife and club photography.
